  1. Parts & Labor
Escapers Two consists of 51 tracks and it goes by in well under half an hour. It was written and recorded in only two days, in the bands own words, it’s a “tribute to our favorite loud and fast bands, a cram session of ideas snatched from the Melvins, Man is the Bastard, Melt Banana, and Napalm Death, as well as 80s indie/punk songsmiths like Mission of Burma, Husker Du, Minutemen and The Wipers.” It’s noisy and chaotic and there are few pop nuggets/more fully evolved songs buried in the noise. It’s one of those records that my wonderful girlfriend will gently close the door on if I’m playing it a little too loud, and it’s one of those records that tempts me to play it a little too loud.
